FEB. 2022, ST. LOUIS – EmpowerMe Wellness, one of the nation’s largest providers of therapy services to senior living communities, has announced an innovative new internship program for university students nearing completion of degree programs in physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology. Combining clinical educational and hands-on training experiences, EmpowerMe’s new University Relations department partners with accredited therapy schools to enhance training curricula while improving the lives of residents in senior living communities.

With two different levels of clinical rotation internships available, EmpowerMe’s program provides students with tech-enabled, hands-on clinical training experiences with EmpowerMe’s experienced therapy team members in senior living communities across 35 states. In some communities, students will also have the opportunity to observe pharmacy and medical providers in action as well, setting EmpowerMe’s program apart from similar internship offerings.
